Our Mission
Newmarket YA Pride Club, strives to create a welcoming community that promotes diversity, inclusivity, and respect for all. Our mission is to provide a space where members can connect, create, have fun, and support each other.
Our History
Founded in 2023, Newmarket YA Pride Club began as a small group of LGBTQ youth who wanted to make a positive impact in their community. In September 2023 we joined the Newmarket Public Library to create the Newmarket Pride Club.
Our Activities
We offer open bi-weekly Pride Club meetings for LGBTQ youth and their allies to help support and build the local community. Through these meetings and special events we connect with each other for support.
Diversity, Inclusivity, Safety
Our meetings are organized and hosted by LGBTQ2 Young Adults. All LGBTQ2 youths and allies are welcome. The meetings are hosted in a private room upstairs at the Newmarket Public Library. We ensure that meetings are secure and safe for everyone. Privacy and confidentiality are always respected..
YA PRIDE CLUB Schedule
Welcome
We meet every second Tuesday in the Newmarket Public Library Story Room (Upstairs). All LGBTQ2S+ and allies ages 13-20 are welcome. Our group gets together to support each other in a fun & safe environment. There is no need to sign up, just come by and join us.
